Should've kept her eye on the road.

Left eye dead?! No. No! NOOOO!!

No star here laces
11:37 / 26.04.02
I take this as evidence that god has a grudge on me. My two most fancied pop stars dead in the space of a year. (I refer of course to Aaliyah, but feel free to make a George Harrison joke here...)

it is so sad about left eye. 'no scrubs' was like my anthem when it came out. lisa carver adored her, wrote about how fesity and cool she was in an old issue of 'rollerderby'. even with all the deaths going on this year, i am truly stunned by this.

There is a palpable sadness in my office today.

Favorite TLC song would have to be "Say What."

She was my best friend...

Gutted.

TLC produced some of the finest pop singles of the past eight or so years - 'Creep', 'Waterfalls', 'No Scrubs' for starters. Prior to the arrival of Destiny's Child, no other female r&b/pop group could really touch them for sass, style and songs - and Left-Eye was arguably always the coolest...

This is a genuine loss. Anyone hear any of her solo album, by the way? was it any good?

ar, bugger. I thought TLC were really neat, and that's saying something, cos I was REALLY anti-pop when they were in the charrts..

if this only happened 8 years ago i wouldn't have had to tolerate that "waterfalls" video interrupting my adolescent grunge intake 20 fucking times a day.

i'm sorry, but this thread needed an opposing view. have a nice day!

Not Here Still

Hmmm. There was a new solo project coming out of course - NINA, or New Idetity Not Applicable.

It was going to be on Tha Row, Suge Knight's new label - the label hich Tupac was most closely linked to. He also released an album hinting at alternate identities (all of that Makaveli stuff) just before he copped it.

I think there's a conspiracy there, somewhere...

Yeah, this one is a bit of a shame, isn't it? TLC a damn good band when they hit form...
