It's in the comics section.

I get a blank screen.

Or is that the point?

I have switched computers and it comes up fine. I don't know why the crappy Macintosh I was using before wouldn't show me the page. It had no problems with any other topic.

You used Netscape?
Someone forgot to close the " in a link tag
like this <a href="url>link</a>

Yep. The problem is with netscape and that topic. I just tried internet explorer on the mac and I can read it. Thanks.

Has a moderator fixed this yet? If not - can you provide me with a link to the offending post and I'll suggest a change...

I'm not clear on what exactly is the problem, Tom, and I'm not sure that it's anything the moderators can fix. You might need to check it out. I haven't noticed anything awry, myself.

A slightly more irritating problem is that my Netscape crashes when I try to read the third page of the Conversation thread "Match up bands and fictionsuits..."

I Explorer does not crash.

I just tried to have a look at the posts with links in, but I got a message saying I didn't have permission to do so. Has my moderator power gone bad? Also, the date on the error page was 31 december 1969.

Ok - for reference purposes from now on, the link of the thread in question is http://www.barbelith.com/underground/topic.php?id=6308. At least this way we can find it quickly from this thread.

I'm having no difficulty whatsoever clicking into this thread on IE 5.2 for Macs and I'm not having any trouble clicking on the 'moderate post' links either.

It only seems to be that thread that I can't moderate the posts of. Here's the error message:

There was an error processing your request:

You don't have the necessary permissions to perform this function.

which particular post are you trying to moderate (or is it all of them in that thread)?

I was trying to open up all the ones with links in to see if I could see and fix the link problem, which was when I noticed it. I think it may be because the thread started in the conversation and moved over, because after playing some more it appears from Bea Arthur's post down I can moderate them.

None of the html for the links in the posts from Bea Arthur's post down seem to be broken, as far as I can see.

Just realised (red face) I can view source and that will let me have a look. I can't see a problem with any of the links.
