Anyone up for a fun, slow march?

The 4th Annual Cannabis March & Festival. Saturday May 4th 2002 - march from Kennington Park (assemble 12pm sharp) to Brockwell Park, Brixton, London. Over 30,000 people have attended in previous years, to show their support for the relaxation of the law on Cannabis. The day will begin with a carnival style march from Kennington Park with floats, banners, costumes and samba beats leading to an all day free festival in Brockwell Park, Brixton. Music from two live stages plus soundsystem venues, the Hemp Expo, Medical Cannabis Marquee, Speakers Area, Hemp Food, and much more besides.

I went a couple of years ago, and its possibly the best fun i ever had with Bain (cannibis), it was sunny and the march takes you past a small skate park, in Stockwell i think.
It's a great oppertunity to smoke in the face of the law litrelly, as they are arm in arm on the other side of the road, some of them were blatently stoned as one officer of the law had a larger than life smile on his face, red eyes and was juggling his and his partners hats in his hands.

have to give this one a miss, I'm afraid... implausible as it may sound, last weekend I got drunk one morning after work and made an appointment with the tattooist... which is tomorrow afternoon. (Hey, at least I didn't wake up to find I'd joined the junior campers. Or the Marines or something.)

Well that was fun, did anyone else go. I guess that the first "political" thing I've done (if you don't count going to the Wallace monument with the SNP and standing in the rain). Everyone was very happy and friendly, no trouble at all - very cool. Can't really say much more because I can't really remember much more, I wonder why
