Lost gets the love (deservedly so -- I happened to catch the third-to-last episode of season 1 recently and have been hooked ever since, and this after my denunciation of the show earlier this year), but I'm here to state that Alias season 4 has been a fresh, enticing change of direction. The latter half of s3 was just ludicrousness upon stupid implausibilities, so I was caught offguard watching this, my guilty pleasure, and actually not feeling as guilty as I have consistently been.
Caught offguard mainly because I thought I'd missed an episode, what with the s3 finale, but the subplot was played out beautifully in the first two episodes.
Alias, as in season 4, feels maximized. Ultimized even. Yeah? |
