Just a query; anyone know why there was never a second Mad Season album? I thought the first was fantastic - did they all discover they hated each other, or what?

Mad Season was just meant to be a one-off project. I imagine that a lot of the reasons for why there was never any more Alice In Chains records after the self titled LP were a factor, as is the fact that Mike McCready is a member of Pearl Jam and therefore quite busy being another.
