| Someone just emailed me to say she'd seen on CNN a scrolling headline thing (without any elaboration) to the effect that US/UK planes have started bombing Northern Iraq. Currently all the news channels seem to be showng sport or business, so I wondered if anyone else had seen/heard this, and if so, if it's the start of an offensive or just our usual run-of-the-mill bombing people thing (if the latter, seems odd it'd be on the news anymore). |
