a truely underrated band, imho. appeared as part of the athens, ga scene in the early 80s, the first song i ever heard by rem was a cover of 'crazy' by pylon. i mention them because my mother managed to find their 'hits' cd, which has just about everything on it. it has aged well, the guitar still sounds like duritti column, and crazy is even more beautiful than rem could make it.
thing is, i've only ever met 2 people who've even heard of the band. am i all alone here? |
