The U.S. Supreme Court today struck down a law that banned virtual or computer-generated images of minors engaged in sex acts. The 6-3 decision was notable in that Clarence Thomas did not, for once, vote on the side of his mentor/puppetmaster Antonin Scalia. Thomas sided with the majority, while prooffering his own opinion (another rarity).
