Yeah, they are both women - I think that's what threw me with the "Kevin" thing.
As to whether it got better enough for you to chase up the live set - hard to say. This is miles away from the kind of music I'm normally into both stylistically and culturally. I would say that there wasn't a huge amount of interaction with the audience as such and they clearly did the whole thing with pre-programmed loops (barring a bit of banjo-playing) so I don't know how much a live performance would add.
But it's definitely infinitely more interesting than anything else from that electronica/electroclash scene IMHO so if you liked their other record, I'd say chase down everything they ever recorded... |
