Okay...just bumping this up cos it's tonight. Feel free to come by. Bring dancing shoes.

Saturday night's party will be at 97 Wykoff, just down the street from the Dekalb stop on the L train in Brooklyn. Party's on the third floor, there's a few other DJs, I probably won't go on til 1:30/2 am.

Um, I'm not going tonight.

But clearly, no one else here is either.

However, we're putting together a big DANCE party in a few weeks, it's going to be huge, and I implore folks here to come out for that. Stay tuned...

Trust me, Ierne, you didn't miss anything.

Besides a lot of dudes from Long Island asking me to play Limp Bizkit and AC/DC for them.

I'll make sure you all know about the dance party. Make sure you bring yr dancing shoes for that one...

If he'd give me ample notice, I'd see him DJ more often...

I hear what you're saying about the crowd, Flux, but a sprinkling of sympathetic peeps probably would have improved the experience for you.

actually you need to find acoustic covers of Limp Biz etc and watch the guys heads melt.

Matthew Fluxington
17:27 / 15.04.02
mm. No, it'd have to be something like Peaches doing a cover of "Nookie" or something. It'd have to feel *queer*, and the gender roles would have to be nebulous.

oooh! oooh! George Michael doing "You Shook Me All Night" by AC/DC would be perfect...

Utopia

Yeah, but when the Bizkit cover a "gay" song (anyone remember George Michael's "Faith"?) it's a major victory for macho dickheads who listen to music based on what football team/wrestler uses it as their theme music. My point? Nada.
