speaking of different perspectives, there's a pro-islam, pro bin ladin interview with the man here: http://www.islam.org.au/articles/15/LADIN.HTM

some of the rhetoric seems so broad, it could have been said by the radical conceptualists around these parts. i'm pretty shakey on a lot of the references, but i'd be curious to hear what anyone else thinks of this interview.

Well, you know, I'm one who thinks the occupied countries in the Middle East have a point. What I find interesting about this is that one could substitute "Allah" with "God" and subsitute "the Americans" with "the terrorists" and find many similiarities in speeches that we're hearing now...

exactly. as long as the rhetoric of both sides is identical, there can never be a true positive resolution. it's just two ideologies in a bloody conflict over who gets to fill in the Mad Libs.
