Okay. I'm not a good Jew. I'm not even a practicing Jew. There were no rabbis in my family, let alone practical Kabbalists...just truck drivers.
In the traditional sense - I'd don't know how Christian, Golden Dawn (goyim)magicians revamp this - to build a "golem" is to create form without spirit: Only G-d can create a being with both form and spirit. Indeed, the word golem implies half of a whole. This is why the golem, has such limited cognizance and understanding...hence the threat that they will overkill on whatever task they are commanded to do, as is repeated in legends, over and over. It is hypothetically possible that one could create spirit without flesh, thus a golem in that half-of-a-whole sense, but this entity would not correspond to conventional ideas of ghosts, servitors, etc. because it would have no point in interaction with the material.
As a good little monolaterist, I think it's quite possible you've done something other than create a golem in the pukka sense. Sounds more like a fetish-servitor, in the Central/East African sense. |
