long shot: there's a brief incident somewhere in the Old Testament where an Israelite farmer kills hordes of marauding invaders in order to stop them trampling over his field of lentils, or possibly peas. Pulses of some sort anyway. does anyone know where this could be found?
failing that, if anyone could direct me to a site where i can get a nice compact biography of an obscure, interesting religious figure (any religion) i'd be eternally grateful.
