The purely functional - electric toothbrushes and shower fittings. Because they are both better than vibrators. Not sure they really count as household appliances, but no true household appliance will ever beat the Smeg for sheer desirability. They are indeed fuck-me fridges...

Safety pins are cheaper than a Smeg fridge and can be transported more easily. But there is very little that would be more lovely on the face of the planet than the pink Smeg... Could sit inside poking myself with the frozen pins. Mmmmmmmmm :-)

I have a major attachment to the top-of-the-line, fully computerized Ilford Darkroom Enlargers in the darkroom space I frequent. They are black, streamlined and relatively dust-free.

Not strictly a "household appliance," but in my dream home it would be.
