I did it without asking Cal, so it'll probably destroy everything, but I've upped the contrast on the text and sorted out the issues with bold text being a different font size. Is this clearer / preferable?

Yes, the board does seem a little easier on the eyes than it was, and bold text is now the same size as regular.

Yeah - that is an improvement isn't it. The bold thing was driving me completely bloody insane... Turns out it was just one line on one page that needed changing, so I don't really deserve the pulitzer or anything - particularly after Cal spent weeks rebuilding this place for us - but it's nice not to feel completely redundant on the technical side.
