Not sure about on-line stuff but Neville Drury wrote some good essays on Spare, Rosaleen Norton (australian magical artist), Giger and magick and surrealism which were collected into the book, 'Echoes from the Void'. They may be online somewhere.

Theres also bound to be plenty of stuff online on Blake.

Sacred geometry and William Blake, that should be enough for your essay.

Blake is very neat, and worth checking into. Anyone who talks to archangels...

Also, you might look into the surrealist movement as a research idea. There were a lot of gnostic ideas going about there involved with the search for "pure creativity" and the like that cross the lines of magick at times.

I've come up with a new twist on magickal art I wanted to share with you all -- I've been burning candles at a little puja for Ganesh to remove some obstacles in my life. I've burned many different colored candles there in the past few months. Recently I let one purple candle burn for a long time and just let the wax kind of spill all over the table, not bothering to clean it up.

When the candle burned out, I was fascinated by the shapes it had made (talk about your chaos theory - it was like a fractal scuplture!). I got this idea to draw the shapes, each one in a different color. It came out really nice -- now I'm wondering what to do with this picture. Charge it as a sigil, or do some other ritual focusing on it?
