I just got a new PC today at work, I love it! is that very sad of me - its a Compaq Evo, its black and silver (including the keyboard and mouse) - Pentium 4, 1.7 Ghz - sooooo fast...and a soundcard too !!

Windows 2000 though thats the only downside but I'm sure I'll get used to it..

Do you love your PC?

Does anyone want to buy my laptop, since being banned from BT I've realised thats all I used it for, the net and without it I've had to find other things to do - anyway flush with cash?

...been using an old mac clone for the last..um...6 years..? Well...over the last year it's been getting comparatively pretty slow but then again...how many people still feel fuzzy using a computer this old? I think when I can afford to get another one, I'll still use this sucker till it goes to the great mainframe in the sky...

Me and my PC are in a very abusive relationship. It treats me like shit but I don't have the strength to leave it. I don't know what I'd do without it. I'm afraid I'd rather be in a shit relationship with my PC than have no relationship at all.

Sax I know its hard but you need to get out of your relationship with your PC. There a places that will help you come to terms with the abuse you've suffered. You must remember that you are a worthwhile person too and no PC has the right to treat you that way. ..

But I know it's a nice PC at heart. Mostly it starts up first time, and does okay, and it always remembers special occasions, like Christmas and April 1, with cute little reminders. Then it'll just crash on me, or refuse to get a connection to the internet. And it freezes all the time. It's just so cold. I feel I'm worth more than this, but I don't really know what to do.

But, you know, do you say thak you when it does as it's told? No. You just take it for granted, don't you?
I think it would be best if both of you could, you know, take a step back from the situation, analyse what you both want from the relationship and, if it's not going anywhere
CHUCK IT ON THE SCRAPHEAP WITH ALL THE OTHER RUBBISH!
It's how I approach all my relationships.

I'm so alone...

And someone said they saw it down the pub with that cute little Sony Vaio. It denied everything, but it's hard drive didn't half need defragmenting the next day.

I have a love/hate affair with my G3. I hate it when, as today, I've spent three hours attempting to repair the fucker.

Work will be buying me (reputedly) a new P4 soon. With lots of memory. And lots of hard disc space. And a fuck-off connection. I am swayed...

I loathe my PC for no better reason than it loathes me (although *it* started it, and *my* dad is bigger).

Of course I love my PC. How could I not love something I put together myself? Its a lovely feeling knowing that you have the power of life and death over another, even if that other is just a machine.
