...so far the board seems to be nice and streamlined. I'd say keep the look as it seems bandwidth friendly and making the bg's darker will compete with text. If UBB encoding and HTML buttons aren't enabled, it may bring up some small problems for users so maybe a key or guide should be established for others to reference. The active topics were somewhat useful on the old lith, but I can live without it.

As far as moderation, it think the ability to lock threads may be vital.

Otherwise, are there any "new" features considered being implemented? What features are available with the UBB system that have been passed over? Not suggesting any per se cause I know it = work.

Randy, I think it is a browser thing. The first night of the new look I was using Netscape 4.something to view the site, I got the horizontal scrollbar, no text wrapping and the couple of messages I tried to post disappeared into the ether. Since then I've been using IE and had no problems at all.

I'm getting used to the changes and starting to really like the new layout etc., but there are two things I do miss. One, as previously mentioned, is the ability to hop from one area to another with fewer clicks, and the second, also as previously mentioned, is the ability to check recent posts of various members. For I, too, like to stalk certain barbevictims.
