Servitor DNA

I've been coming up with bitchin' ideas for servitors, and then getting bogged down trying to encode their instructions. I like taking a shortish sentence and sigilizing it to make a sort of "topic sentence" which defines the basic intent behind the servitor, and on one occasion I hijacked a symbol I found to attach to one of those topic sigils; but beyond that, I just get confused. (How do I turn an if/then statement into a sigil?)

So far I've played around with pseudo computer code and flowcharts, but they weren't doing it for me. Any suggestions for further reading?

Your making it too complicated.
Take your sweedo code and make function names.
Make the function names into a sigil, not the whole program.
You can reuse those coded functions like you would programming
Different servitors have different mixtures or sequences of functions.
Burn or ritually dispose of a copy of your complete "program" when you charge your sigil for the first time.

in symbolic logic if/then has a symbol
A --> B
if A then B
A implies B

Also

A => B

And I imagine if and only if would be useful in some cases

A <=> B
A <-> B
A iff B

Bird gotta fly, fish gotta swim, Tom gotta overthink. ;\

Thanks for the symbols and object-oriented sigil concept! =D

I've got an Idea, dt if you write up any functions then we can trade and collect functions to use in out own servitors.

Every one could sweedo code a function and then we combine them to make servitors.

Magickal trading card/ Modern programming techniques. super cool.

Grant what are some assosiations of Aifeb ?

Two faces looking to the left-front and right-front; bulging, telescopic eyes like a chameleon; only two small ears; and a mass of very sticky hydra-like tentacles in place of hair. The right face is red, the left face is blue, the tentacles are a pale yellow-green (primary colors), the rest of the body is grey. Four arms & four legs - like a spider.
In his upper left hand, Aifeb wields a pair of scales with a long gold chain hanging from it; the chain terminates in a grappling hook. In his upper right hand, he holds a large lens. In his lower left hand, he holds a pot of glue. In his lower right hand, a seed or acorn. His feet are covered in cobwebs.

Open-source enchantment? I love it--I'll try to come up with something before I go to bed tonight.
