Hey Ria -- I'm working this weekend and can't come up from NY, but best of luck to you!

Hey Ria

That sounded pretty impressive, and I would love to have been there but unfortunately I was occupied in the UK at the time.

How did it all go??

thank you for asking, Angel.

I will duck the question of how the rite went. I don't feel like talking about it now. perhaps performing something as personal as magic before a crowd disrupted my self-image. I had never done that before. I will describe it in my livejournal (see link on my profile) tomorrow.

as a whole everyone I know rated it an unqualified success. many many people in too small a space. a lot of people showed up especially if you consider most advertising happened by word of mouth.

Thanks for the answer Ria. Well done on the success part!

Performance of any sort in public can be quite confronting, so I sympathise on the self-image stuff. It can be quite a good catalyst though for exploring personal expectation versus public perception, and for some reason those two things can seem to be miles away from each other.

I will check out your journal and I look forward to reading about the experience.

Respect and Love

Poo. I should check this place more often - I was in Cambridge picking up my worthless MA that day.

Brilliant piece of transatlantic misunderstanding that was.

I now understand that the title of this thread means 'Cambridge Massachussetts'...

I'm right there with you Lyra. I was trying to establish the connection with a Cambridge MA and thinking 'where the hell is this place and do they know there's a digit missing from the phone number'.

Colour me bewildered.
