and when would be good?

my house is up for crashing (Im about 45 minutes from dc), if no one minds sleeping on the floor, as I live in the very tiniest apartment ever. also must be willing to deal with two very affectionate cats.

my car can hold 3 other people, 4 if you are willing to have no leg room, so if you can make it here I can take you there.

february and march are NOT good for me personally (and if you want to crash at my place and/or get a ride I think Id be a bit miffed if you had it without me)

Well, since it wouldn't cost me more then a weekend, I'm up for the experience.

As said in the previous post, I've got a good amount of floor space down here just south of DC. I've also got some air mattresses, for people if they want to use 'em (queen and twin)

One bit, not to kill bk's offer (since she'd be a much better hostess then me) it's acctually about an hour to an hour and a half of driving between her and I. It's also an hour to Annapolis (someone's there right?)

Cost should be a bit less then the NYC trip. Since we've got free space, and kitchens (instead of having to eat out). So, just let me know when.

Oh, and for the southerners, I can find out drive time if you want from Atlanta. We've got an office down there and I'm sure someone at work has made the drive.

April would probably be best for me, though any weekend in May but the last one could work. I'm not partial to where I stay, it comes down to who dislikes me less between BK and tSuibhne, and I've got potential lodgings in Annapolis if it's a draw. The train ride from NY to DC is actually fairly pleasant, but if there's a few people up here interested in taking a ride, I'll gladly pack people into my van and drive down.

I'd be up for it, but I'm going to have grand jury duty on either mondays or fridays from mid march for up to eighteen. fucking. weeks. Which kind of puts a damper on long weekends. I believe it's a plot to keep people from voting.

The weekend of May 10 – 12? Hmmm...

I'm working two jobs now, but the weekend one's pretty flexible, so if more peeps are down for it, I'll ask for the time off.

If this comes to pass, I'd like to stay with tSuibhne because bk has cats and I am rather allergic. (I have two cats of my own, and they need their own room because I get sneezy & wheezy. Lucky Boys!)

I'd like to make tenative reservations... it would depend on whether or not I get Friday the 10th off from both jobs. Even if you stay with bk and I stay with tSuibhne, you can always drop me off somewhere and he can come get me.

I'll be more than happy to chip in for gas, tolls, and other car-related expenditures.

Well its now April, and I can;t believe I missed this thread...

Anyway, by May, our apartment in Annapolis should be decently clean enough for people to crash here if needed. (I figure Floats and Luther might want to at least...)

The dates mentioned are fine, May 4th is bad, unless people want to trek down over to West Virginia with me while I do a workshop on Violet Wands at the local BDSM club out there.... (WHIP)

I was acctually just thinking about this. With the meets this week, do people want to push back the DC/Baltimore/Annapolis meet?

4th of July would seem to most obvious choice for a latter date, but I'm up in the air.

I'm not too opposed to not moving it back, I say the more meets the merrier, however I understand some people won;t make so many (I know I can't make NYC all the time, though my family is there...)

I'd love to hang out with my brother, so I'm hoping I can definitely convince him and floats to come down as long as PT Grimm doesn;t have a show that weekend.

I hadn't seen this thread before. Is July 4th happening? I might be able to swing by if it is. Well, maybe not "swing by". More like "travel for hours in a cramped and smelly Greyhound", but you get the idea. I'm looking forward to FINALLY meeting someone else from this place.

Um, not sure what the other's excuse is, but my lack of responce has a lot to do with my recently aquired status as psudeo-hermit. You ever just have one of those days where you can't get up the energy to call anyone, or plan any kind of get togethers? I'm on about my 7th or 8th month.

So, if people want to do this. Post a date, and I'll let you know if there are conflicts with me (probably not) if not, then I've got crash space for a good number of people. I seem to be much better once I get around people, it's just acctually getting around people that seems to be hard for me these days.

Oh, and yes, the 4th of July is open for me. BK said she couldn't do the holiday, but if people take off friday, that's a four day weekend, and may be something can be worked out later. So, plan people, and fill me in on what you come up with.
