Paddick Demo on Thu 21st March at 10am.

Commissioner Stevens, who ‘sacked’ Commander Paddick will meet the Metropolitan Police Authority this Thursday 21st March 10am at Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, SW1, there will be a public demonstration.

There will be a public meeting at Lambeth Town Hall at 6pm on Tuesday 26th March to demand the re-instatement of Cmdr Paddick called by the Community Police Consultative Group for Lambeth.

(I believe we should all go to this as it will develop from here. It is important that the people of Lambeth's wider community, not just people who visit Urban75, all come together on this. Hope to see you there - hatboy).

OK, so we missed the green party demo today... apparently there's gonna be a Tuesday one called by Ken Liningstone's office. Personally I'm not sure I'm going to be able to make the evening meeting but my Tues daytime is free... might be able to drag my bro along as well. Hmm. I'll keep my eyes peeled for details.

There's a pub called The Goose which is cheap and close to the tube stn. Go out the station, cross the road and head right, under the bridge, and you'll see it on your left almost immediately.

I presume this'll be well-publicised but prolly worth putting details on other sites u frequent / e-lists you're on...

I'm intending to go, but I won't be able to leave work before 5.30pm. I am working in Liverpool St at the moment so it will take at least 0.5 hour to get to Brixton. Will you still be at the Goose around then Gozer? (or anyone else for that matter)

Also have I met you yet? Coz if not let's at least swap info for easy identification as I will be very tired after work and my brain will have stopped working in protest to inhumane treatment.
