exactly how far is the UN going to allow this to go befrore it takes up the courage of its convictions and condemns it?

it's one thing to speak of what should be IDEALLY happening - but to my mind, they should be addressing what is ACTUALLY happening. i hate the way the UN obviously doesn't really approve of the strikes but knows it can't openly say so.

and if the deaths of these UN personnel came out precisely because of who they were - how many other bombs have already gone astray and - for now - unreported? do we really believe civilians aren't dying?

I don't know where to put this, exactly, but four protestors were shot and killed in Quetta, Pakistan. And Students in Djakarta today employed tear gas against riot cops.

And notice how all the U.S. media sources discussed the four deaths indifferently, in a casual, passing manner - As if it had been expected. No investigation. I'd wager the U.K. media responded in a similar manner.

It seems much of Western media has become overtly concerned with protecting the U.S. government' s interest.

This is not good at all.
