Most people over-write dialogue. Some of the best stuff is minimal. Bare, sparse dialogue kicks the crap out of Tarantino-stylee hyperchat. It also leaves you free to explode when someone needs to make an impression.
Less is more.
Don't use it for plot expo unless you have no alternative of any kind. That's a killer. It's almost as bad as voice over. |
