I just got done with a short story over the weekend, and am kinda proud of it. It's a very different story for me, since most of my fiction is very serious (too much so in a lot of ways) and this one is an attempt at humor.
I sent it out to my "fiction list", people who have signed up to get my short stories and novel bits when I get them done from my website...
But for the first time, this story got NO responces. None. One of my friends said it was very good, but friends always say that.
