Last night I went out
and bought a Derringer.
Then, this morning
I was out
scoping banks.
And may be
after all this ends
my name will be in the papers
and people will talk about me
with hushed voices
and respect
about me
and the size
of my little Dillinger.
Of course I wouldn't be dead
but on an island somewhere
drinking martinis
with Elvis
