forgive me if this has already been posted here, but what new albums are we looking forward to this year?

the new Buckethead just came in the mail the other day, and the only one on the horizon that i know for sure is new Melvins due out in April.

i've heard rumors that Blur and Radiohead were working on some new stuff, but it's all just rumors. but it's a safe bet Mike Patton's got something good cookin'.

for me, 2001 was a great year in music, and i hope '02 is just as good!

There will be a new Jicks record that will come out later this year. It is the only possible thing that I think could be better than Walking With Thee.

And we should probably expect somewhere between 4-5 GBV records.

On Glitterhouse alone, there's new 16 Horsepower (and a solo disc by their main man, called Woven Hand, iirc), Dakota Suite and Knife in the Water. The Necks release a live disc in the middle of the year, I think, and Dirty Three have a live one on the way...

And there's the two Tom Waits releases in May, of course...
