Margin Walker: I'm pretty sure you're wrong. Preeeeetty sure.
Use Graphic Converter instead. Download it here. It's free, and doesn't expire. You have to wait ten seconds while it starts up, but other than that, it's non-knobbled.
The process for turning 'em into JPEGs is simple:
- Find the folder with your TIFFs in 'em - call it "Tiff" or whatever.
- Create a second, empty folder. This is where your converted pics will go. Call it "Converts" or something like.
- Start Graphic Converter.
- In the File menu, choose Convert
- On the right-side, select your new ("Converts") folder. On the left side, find your originals ("Tiff") folder.
- Using shift-click, select all your originals.
- Using the Dest. Format dropdown on the right (above an "options" button), select JPEG/JFIF (*.JPG, *.JPEG) from the list.
- Press Convert. Your originals will convert, and be saved as .jpg files in your "Converts" folder. Note that you can convert individually (by highlighting one file and press "convert") too.
That's it. You've now got jpegs in the converted folder, and your tiff originals in your Tiff folder.
Does that make sense? PM me if not. |
