i need to create a simple form for a web page and it really gives me a headache. can someone with a bit more brains than i help me out with this?

not quite with you - you have a cgi program and you want to write the HTML to go with it, or you need to write the cgi?

if the latter I'm not sure I can help, my perl's only "basic"...

i keep staring blankly at these cgi programs i downloaded and i don't know what to do with them. i wrote a form in HTML, but i don't know how to make it fly!

You need to put it in your cgi-bin. Can you post a link to where you downloaded it from?

well there's this site http://www.liquidsilver.com/scripts/form2mail/ ; what im unclear about is what i have to reconfigure so that the cgi program, or the perl program or whatever it is specifically relates to the variable in my html form, ya dig?
