Sigh. I think Bono is good guy. I think maybe he gets it. I think maybe he CAN do good by palling around with Jesse Helms and Republicans and just being the public face of debt relief. I want to belive in BONO.

Did you see that bit on the Daily Show recently, with Steven Colbert (sp?) reviewing their Super Bowl set, and dismissing Jon Stewart's well-reasoned questions about the contradictions inherant in Bono/U2's activism with a simple, resigned "Why can't you just do what Bono says, Jon?"

It was great. And far funnier than how I just described it...
