I usually don't like to waste bandwidth with this kind of thing, but... I just had to talk about it.

Listening to "Let Down" by Radiohead, funny that I'd never paid attention to this song's highlight... when it's kicking into the final chorus, at 03'58"...
(and "No Surprises", the background vocals at 03'07"...)

This is as beautiful as music can get, isn't it? I mean... fuck.

yes.

in 97.. the readers of Q magazine voted Ok Computer the best album ever.

i think they were right then.. and they're still right now.

Ha! You truly are from Idiotland!

I think the best record of all time is Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by my old band, The Smashing Pumpkins. I'd like to see any sane person argue against that!

Sure. It was too sprawling. Would've made a better single disc.

And besides. Siamese Dream was better, Billy. Stop denying it.

Though you did have better hair with the later albums.

D'Arcy Wretzky always had better hair than you as well. Should have copied her.

Still wasn't as good hair as was to be found on Hope Sandoval though.

Siamese Dream is probably the second greatest LP of all time. Mellon Collie is the greatest, because it covers every emotion and feeling imaginable, and it sold more copies.

sales numbers are no measure of the quality of an album. they are the measure of the marketing power of a record label.
