Nothing has ever made me wish that I was a teenage girl more than this.

Can you imagine how amazingly cool this camp must be?

Yeah, It looks pretty boss--not to mention practical. If memory serves, the article I read about the camp last year mentioned that the instructors (who are musicians themselves) taught survival techniques--like how to sound half-way decent when they won't give you a soundcheck & how to get your money when the club owner/promoter doesn't want to pay you.

Now if they only a DJ workshop....

yeah, I do wish that they had enough money and resources to offer keyboards, turntables, and samplers as instruments for the girls to play...

but really, c'mon. that's a pretty fucking cool thing, especially with the sliding price scale...

would try and sneak in to this but i would never pass as a teenager, and rarely pass for a girl, so i don't think i'd make it!

i am so glad to see stuff like this happening. i think it's right about time! hopefully we'll see others happening all across the states and in europe too and not just in groovy portland.

This is an insanely groovy idea.

I'd send them all my money if I had any spare.

(And it adds to my conviction that everything cool happens in Portland, Oregon)

Wow. How different my life would be if there had been a camp like this when I was a kid...I'd be a disheveled rockstar, not just look like one.
