Genuinely interesting musicians?
A good eye for commercial RnB, but not much more?
Piss all over the Neptunes?
I love their mix of 'Hit 'em up style' - the way they mutate the reggae groove of the first 16 bars into a kind of early house groove when the chorus hits. But none of their other stuff really clangs my bell or lives up to the hype.
