right so I've 45 quid, enough to buy three aphex twin albums. can anyone suggest a top three of his best work?

The first Selected Ambient Works LP, I Care Because You DO and Boards of Canada's Music Has The Right To Children (which doesn't technically have anything to do with Aphex Twin - aside from being released on Warp - but is more worth buying than any third record of his that I could think of).

The Richard D James album is good. If for no other reason, than for milkman.

if you have to buy aphex twin and you want variety, get selected ambient works, richard d james, and one of his other side projects. That way you get a broader selection. Or you could just buy Drukqs, which is kinda mixed up as well...
