!obsfuqation warning!

Mine:

Carpe Dium!!!

(how's my spelling? Dial 1-800-Eat-Shit )

Beautiful Catastrophe: bitter sweet, hello goodbye.

Transition happened just like <snap!>

No more Leo: gone are dark days of doubt. I was of NO help anyways…

Libra angel liberating!

On the day of equal light and dark, two Libras watch Sun rise for first time: and it only gets brighter from here.

Libra^2 on equinox!

It was over the edge as the U-in-verse kept the diZzy generating a go-go.

Brand new highs, baby, brand. new. highs.

And it only gets brighter from here!

(included unplanned fasting, unplanned sleep deprivation, and an unplanned encounter with “fate:” call it The Tower or Hagalaz or, perhaps even Gifu and Mannaz)

I LOVE THIS LIVING

Two shinning stars, and it only gets brighter from here, and let it be known that we can shine only more radiant as early spring turns to summer!

GABSHEB!

As ants and deities, as ants and deities.

Mmmmm. Mustn't grumble.

(And it's carpe diem, the one piece of Latin that absolutely positively every fucker in the world knows. Except you, as it turns out)

Didn't celebrate it but Paddy's day was a good laugh. No altered states this year. Anyone ever wondered why the Irish Catholic holy?day to celebrate St. Patrick driving the snakes out of Ireland is so close to the equinox?

Equinox was a blast. Plenty of ritual, storytelling, good food, mulled wine, etc.

St. Patty's I always do a pro-snake ritual to honor the various 'cosmic serpent' deities as well as the human 'snakes' that were persecuted.

I really hate St. Patricks day. Maybe if I didn't experience the disgusting U.S. version of the holiday I'd feel differently but doesn't celebrating St. Patrick and his actions seem just a bit like celebrating the Spanish Inquisition on a smaller scale?

Maybe I'm wrong. Am I knee jerking against a benevolent Catholic Saint here?

My equinox started slowly, but something kicked in around 5ish and the rest of the day was a blast.

Something in the universe definately clicked in or out, whichever way it moved there was a definite change. For me it feels like a release of energy, that stagnant pools are very gently being filled with fresh water and the sludge is being allowed to flow away.

And Equinox is right near my B'day so there's always something interesting happening

Peace and Love Everyone

From what I gather St. PAddy seems fairly benevolent but the whole story is a metaphor for the exile of paganism from Ireland. However, in recent years the celebrations in Ireland always have fucking loads of pagan themes in them. For example, year before last, there was a huge big show in the street recreating the battles of the fianna against the fomori. It could be a rejection of the power the church had over this country up until the last decade. I think the celebration itself has always been represented a resurge in paganism for me. I try to celebrate it by building gnosis through drugs & tekno.

I totally agree with Mezcal Man about March 17 here in the States. Every single negative stereotype concerning Irish culture gets dusted off and rubbed in everyone's faces... very tedious. I tend to stay home and read.

The Irish celebrations sound way cooler

I bought a used English-Greek / Greek-English Dictionary at my favorite secondhand bookstore this week – right around the Equinox, in fact! None of the Latin-English/ English-Latin ones were in good condition.
