I was at church today and they started quoting Stone Roses lyrics. Very cool. "I am the vine and you are the branches". It made me remember a website that used to exist called One Love Story. It still exists here http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Olympus/4830/onelove.html but it isn't the full size site that it used to be. Basically this guy called Burnweed decided that the Stones Roses were angels send by god. He worked this out by examining all the biblical references in the lyrics. Then he went on to claim that his band were going to support them at the Apollo. Then when the second coming came out he decided he didn't like it and that the current band were actually imposters and not the real Stone Roses. Then he decided Oasis were the new angles. Then a few years later someone claiming to be burnweed said that he had decided to become a professional golfer and would be kicking off at some competition in St Andrews.
All very interesting. Anyway if you haven't seen it you might want to read it. |
