So, guitary people, tell me this:

1. Is the V-Amp any good and worth getting for £130?

2. Is it possible to play an acoustic, normal guitar through a bass amp and expect anythingmore interesting then things played above the 6th fret to not be reproduced to happen?

3. Can I plug a V-Amp/POD into a fuck-off big speaker and thus save ampy money?

4. Do Bass PODs work on normal guitars?

Cheers people.

1) From what I've heard, nobbad. Check out the sound-on-sound.com review. And ask the folks on usenet in uk.music.guitar.

2) Maybe? No idea.

3) Yes. The V-Amp is essentially the head of your amp setup. So you can plug it straight into the speaker. It's a preamp modeller and a cab modeller all at once. You could even plug it into a hifi if you were desperate.

4) Well, something will happen. But a real pod might be better.

a bass amp is designed to play bass, but anything that makes noise through a quarter-inch jack can go through it. It's just that the built-in EQs are kind of set to make basses sound better. Far as I've seen, anyway.
