Is how I came into the world, and how I may spend the anniversary of said entry tomorrow. I haven't reminded/told anyone IRL, so I thought I'd tell you, Barbelith, that tomorrow is my 23rd birthday.

I just found out that the move I thought I had to make by April 1st may be delayed until May 1st, so I might be able to treat myself to the Ctrl-Alt-Del button tattoos I've been putting off.

What do you think, Barbelith? Dilligence and savings, or fun and new body adornments?

I'll let you know Monday how it turns out.

OK, update time, although 2 days later than promised. The birthday was enjoyable, if not a bit frustrating. The rest of the weekend, well, it was terrible. Saturday involved waiting around for 8 hours for my ex to show up, worried as all hell, and then being made to feel bad by her for being understanding when she finally did call. I did go out Saturday night, but wallflowered it, as i was in some poor headspace, not up for revelry. That, and the tattoo appointments didn't happen over the weekend either. (Ok, there were several other quite awful things to occur, but I'm not going into them)

Anyway, forget all that noise, and look here....

Why just a birth-day? Surely a week is more appropiate. The damn things have a 5 in 7 chance of falling on a school day, so it's far more practical to declare the entire week a party zone and try and wash out those wrinkles through sheer force of enthusiasm.

Besides, you're carried around for 9 months to start of with (which is another thing, why BIRTH-day. Whay not a Conception day as well? Paddignton bear and the queen have two "I'm alive" style celberations, why can't I?

My one-true-love's mom has actually achieved this- she's invented a holiday based around her birthday, last checked being a month long and growing. She's gotten her coworkers to acknowledge it as well. I was impressed.

Well, they are done, and healing nicely. And I don't really need to look for women to push my buttons, they've always seemed to know how to do that on their own.
