Has anyone else picked up Bjork's new album yet?

Picked it up last week...I'm intrigued by the influence of early music on her vocal arrangements.

Yeah, I've heard it quite a lot - loads of my friends have got it. Very nice. Gather she made it in conjunction with those weird bastards, Matmos.

I thought I saw/heard? an interview wherein She said the two had locked up in a house for three months and tried using only stuff in there to make the sounds (with lots of equipment of course.)

I thought it was better than the last couple, but still lackedreal feeling...

i LOVE this album. It makes me go all gooey. Of course this may have something to do with the fact that I think Bjork is the sexist thing ever to venture out of the Arctic Circle. But it really is a breathtaking piece of work, all the emotion that she was holding back on her previous CDs...

Production rocks too.

'Pagan Poetry' is the best thing ever. It's the perfect autumn/winter song. Doesn't it make you want to listen to it on your walkman while walking through some leaves on a chilly evening? And it's going to be the next single! Yay! And the video is apparently utterly dutt! Double yay!

And [YNH], how can you say it lacks real feeling? That bit at the end where she goes "He makes me want to hurt <prounced 'heeeeaaaaaarrrrrrrrt'> myself again..." - if that ain't feeling, I don't know what is. Gave me chills when I realised those were the words...

It's the album I've been waiting for Bjork to make. Lessy 'poppy', more 'nice n crunchy'. It surely gets us inside her head a lot more than previous releases, and what a wonderous place it is.
