between the headshop and the switchboard? I'm not sure which one to post a certain topic in, as they seem to sort of run into each other. All I can see is that the switchboard is a more 'real' version of the headshop, with less of the slightly abstract stuff in the headshop. Or I may be very very wrong indeed.

There are various ways you can define the difference between the two - there's theory vs practice, philosophy vs politics etc.

Basically I tend to think of the Switchboard as being a current affairs place with Head Shop being a thinking place. At the moment the Special reports on the World Crisis is kind of distracting attention from the Switchbaord.

Does that makes sense?

And if you'd like them to go into one and travel to the next, write "RT: topic name" and then, after a week of sitting in the Switchboard, e-mail the moderator and ask them to move it to the Head Shop.
