Just got hold of this (in lieu of actually seeing the fucker - how unghetto is it to cancel a gig cos your house got broke into?). Fuck me is this a great record. Fantastically funky and novel production by Reggie Noble: it's got a very tech-y sound, but sounds much more hip-hop than the Outkast and Miss-E albums which showed similar influences.
The single with Adam F is quite something too. Red seems to have finally kicked his eternal "guest spot" status.
Anybody else got this yet? If not, shame on y'all. |
