Has anyone else borne witness to this neat little McKellar opus?

Have been meaning to since I saw the cassette in the shop. Love, love, love McKellar, and try to see everything he does. Got any lines on some of his short efforts, Wisdom? And what of Last Night? Worth a look? (I assume so, since you took the time to post.)

Yeah, check this one out.

I occasionally catch shorts in the midst of things like Showcase and Bravo.

He stands up quite nicely.

Is this the odd movie where the world is ending for a reason that is never given and all about how people deal with it.
If so it's fantastic.
If not I'll shut up and leave quitely.

Simple and beautiful. I recently plugged it in Rizla's apocalypse sci-fi thread in Books.

Did you note the obligatory appearance of David Cronenberg in a Canadian Film

I swear there should be an Oscar for that alone.

According to the film industry rumours he is known to turn up at the set of Canadian films to say hi to friends etc and winds up in some kind of cameo/small part.

WoE, you should be more specific. Not merely Canadian films, but films shot specifically in Toronto. With this one he had to return the favor - he gave McKellar the job in eXistenZ.

I do love his cameo in To Die For, though, and I'll probably see Jason X just because he's in it. It's unlikely though that I'll ever ger around to catching Blood And Donuts.

He's not limited to Toronto, it's just where he lives and therefore more likely to pop up.

I understand he's been in some Vancouver films and also saw him in a small one from Regina.
