Kind of answers my questions about the scene with the elf gifts and the Gimli/Gladriel thing that was set up but never followed through with in the film.
Jesus how long must the directors cut be? Ah well, wonder if they'll bring it out at a none silly price, or just in the DVD special super edition in a wooden slipcase doodah.
I remember from one of the trailer scenes, one in which Legolas shoots an arrow, aiming at orcs behind Aragorn, and Aragorn just dodges from as if it was just a crumpled ball of paper and keeps walking... really well done. Must be from The 2 Towers.
