LATE!! Aaagh! It's The Mr. Hell Show. Sunday, 23:00, BBC2. Randomly suspened first series of progamme eqwually randomly cut dispite a million viewers and an Annie nomination. Six (?) episodes left, and then no more. Also, Biz was involved, as people probablly have already guessed...

NEW!! Big Train. Monday, 21:30, BBC2. Not only great, but now that this is finished, Pegg can now get on with the third series of Spaced.

NEW!! Smack The Pony. Friday, 21:30, C4.

OLD!! Black Books Friday, 23:20, C4. Repeat of whole first series, to be followed by second one.

Smack the pony seems to be finding its feet now - the problem i had with this series initially was that whilst it featured come really gifted commedienes the quality of the material wasn't up to scratch giving this the gloss of a comedy show by WOMEN rather than a COMEDY show by women.

I found the second series weaker than the first. Revisiting series one jokes (the body phobic doctor and the just bizarre one with the dancers bringing colour into the world) I felt they were low on ideas. Hopefully they won't need to roll out the jokes about tampons and periods just yet...
