hawkgirl--well---eh--ok they needed a girl besides wonder woman--

bad/strange bits---hippolyta as a blond
no hal jordan or kyle raynor (fine fine, affirmative action, no Black vulcan or Black lightning anymore either)--Hawkgirl--uh--yeah-----

over all a cool show, good tone down of the white martian invasion story line, ppl actually got killed

I nearly screamed when I heard the name Snapper Carr. It was pretty spiffy. I got a kick out of everyone flying and then pausing while Batman used his little claw thing to follow. And Flash was hysterical. If it keeps on in this vein, I approve.

Has Wonder Woman always been able to fly? Then why did she need that invisible plane? And speaking of invisibles planes, where's Wonder Woman's invisible plane?

grant, it's on Cartoon Network Monday's at 8:30pm here, so 9:30 there. Premiered Saturday. tvguide.com will give you all the times (I think it reruns friday and sunday.)

Good bits from the bad: Hippolyta with broad shoulders, John Stewart as Shaft (second ep), and Hawkgirl wasting 5 badguys for every one Superman did.

I for one am willing to excuse Wonder Woman spontaneously being able to fly purely for the absence of the invisible plane.

She kept lassoing things, and not one of them told the truth. Or told anything at all. I think many of them might have been buildings.
