Trailer to what? As if you geeks had to ask. Here's the link. You need Quicktime 5 to see it, though. Brightened my day, it did.

BTW, seeing as Tom's board is already taxed, I suggest that we discuss this in the Conversation forum, so Tom doesn't have to pay to archive our thoughts/rants/uncontrollable treacle & drooling on Episode II. Here's the link to the thread in the Conversation forum.

May the force be with you 'n stuff....

MW: post away here. Film, TV and Theatre is cleaned out as regularly as The Conversation - only a month or two's worth of stuff is ever kicking around here. Everything older than that drops right off.

Attack. Of. The. Clones. My entire point is summed up there.

you can't access the trailer on the official site that margin linked to unless you are a member- however those lovely folks at theforce.net have copies that are downloadble without any nasty old registration.

Looks as cool and exciting as any 1 minute best of teaser trailer can.

coll stuff as far as i'm concerned - gabriel byrne - christopher walken- an army of fetts and the hoard of jedi running into battle lightsabres blazing

I must be the only person outside of Lucasfilm who really feels that is a nice, appropriate and unpretentious title for the movie. It's a movie about clones attacking people. Why NOT call it Attack Of The Clones?
In The Empire Strikes Back, the empire struck back. In Return of the Jedi, the Jedi returned. It all makes sense to me.

Because, Flux my dear, Verb Of The Noun titlers have a certain... weight. They make people think of cool cheesy shit blowing up and overblown pretantious twaddly crap pulled off in a big-kid, energetic way with a love for blowing cool cheesy shit up (well me, anyway).

This will be about making money out of shiny stuff blowing up with pixels and liscencing deals.

It's a bit... sacriligious to try and recalim your cheesy, overlblown herritage with the sort of over-produced, made-to-make-money shite these people will throw at us.

Pin, it's only as cheesy as the names of any number of Sunday afternoon serials that inspired the Star Wars movies (and their titles).

gabriel byrne - christopher walken

Who aren't in it. Like the man said: you've been suckered by the fan trailer. Silly sod.
New Star Wars: Christopher Lee as Darth Tyranus, Boba Fett's dad, an army of clones, Super Battle Droids, lots of coruscant and mmmmm....Slave 1.

By that logic, how come Episode I wasn't called Jar-Jar Sucks Ass?

Now have an image of someones ass and Jar Jars long flexible tongue. Thanks for that.

Trailer looks nice and dark. Here's a question: How can part 3 possibly have a cheerful ending?

It can't. It won't. There'll probably be a few shredded-wheat squares of hope in there, but it's gonna be depressing.

I wasn't impressed with the trailer when I saw it at Monsters Inc, but that's just me. When you're going up against trailers as snazzy as The Lord of the Rings and Sorceror's Stone, you have to put forth a little more effort I think.

Maybe it'll be a zany farce. The last scene of III will have Anakin's twisted body reborn as Vader and he'll be torturing some Jedi to death, while in the foreground Obi-Wan will shrug weakly and Yoda will have his arms crossed tapping his foot. Add "wah, wah, wah, WAAAAAAAH" trumpet and serve.

The Star Wars trailer is much, much better than the Harry potter trailer. At least, I think it is.

You funny americans and your "Sorcerors Stone"......

aparrently changed because Warner Bros. thought too few Americans would know what a philosopher was...

Don't you mean,

Ass-Sucking of the Jar-Jar?

Last trailer 'Forbidden Love' out now. I gotta admit. This one gave me chills. That scowl from Hayden Christiansen just before the shot of Yoda and the last lightsaber slash. Finally we get to see the downward spiral of Anakin. Nicely done. And Natalie Portman. Huzzah! At least we know now where they got the designs for the TIE fighters. The queen's hairdo.

I might have to go see this after all. Dammit.

That trailor looked pretty good. Much closer to Empire Strikes Back than Phantom Menace for sure...

the dialogue is still quite stiff...

Looks like Dawson's Creek in Space to me.
