i watched this for the first time tonight. while i didn't think it was as great as some made it out to be, i still enjoyed. what stands out for me mostly, is that these two little kids are absolutely the best actors i have ever seen. it's a shame they'll have to grow up and learn how to act like all other actors someday.

Didn't see it in theatres because I wasn't sure if it was worth $9.50. (Not when I can see Alan in the street for free, yo!

that reminds me: I was checking Tom's other site, TCN, and there was a blurb about Alan possibly playing Dr Who. Imagine that...

I loved it. I saw it with my brother & sister (both grown-ups) in a cinema full of kids, and was struck by the fact that only the adults seemed to be laughing: there was one bit ("I am now flushing your poo") that made the kids laugh, but apart from that they didn't seem to enjoy it much.

I took this as a Good Sign.

Definately worth a watch. One of the most enjoyable movies this year. Totally unexpected. saw it at the cinema and was rolling around the floor with laughter for two hours. Love the song sung backwards. that just cracks me up...

...and the thumbs.
