Just saw this last night in the West End- previewing until 3rd November, all tickets at half price. (I got a freebie so I guess I owe them a plug...) It's a comedy about two guys doing a tribute to Morecambe and Wise. Don't write it off based on that though... it was f*ckin' funny, people were getting quite hysterical and elderly relatives were probably in some danger from too much laughing and not enough breathing.

Don't want to tell you too much about it in case you go see it. Do go if you can though. A little escapism never hurts.

Saw the posters for this on the tube the other day – I see Eddie Braben’s given a writing credit, so I guess they recreate some M&W material ?

Directed by Kenneth Branagh, too, IIRC.

Predominantly comedy, then ? I was wondering about that – much more appealing as a prospect if that’s the case…

i saw it tonight and its fucking brilliant and incredibly funny. I say that, even though I didnt get in for free and havent got the slightest idea who Morecambe and Wise are/were, being foreign and all that.
the funnierst thing i have seen in quite a while.
