the biggest impression it left me with was sheer frustration that the american media wouldn't give him the time of day. one good thing about the advent of the internet is that it gives people like chomsky a means of addressing a readership, in a user-friendly way, in between books. it reconnects him - allows him to be even more topical - 'cause he can be a rapid response intellectual.
