Harrison had a crush on Brook McQueen for so long. He never asked her out
because she was going out with Josh. But, now Josh was out of the picture
because Brooke and Josh were through, for good. Harrison walked down the
hallway at school looking for his three best friends (Sammi, Lily and Carmen).
He spotted them.
"Lil, Carm, Sam, come here!" he shouted to them.
When he cause up with them he said
"Did you hear the latest thing? The newest gossip?"
"Your dream came true, Brook McQueen is flying solo these days?" Sam said
sarcastically.
"Yeah right" said Lily "when pigs fly."
"Well pigs must fly because she's going to be all mine real soon." he
snickered. They all stared at him like he had two heads.
"You are so lying to us Harr, Brooke not being with Josh is like me not like
chocolate" Carmen joked.

Brooke felt so lousy when she walked through the door of Kennedy High. All
she needed was to talk to Nicole. Even though she swore she saw someone else
when her and Josh were on her steps talking. She saw Nicole down the hall.
"Nic, we need a serious girl talk now" she whispered onse she was in ear
distance.
"Brookie, what's wrong?" Nicole said once they got in the bathroom.
"Well, um.... Josh broke up with me." she said holding back tears. Brooke
didn't want to tell Nicole the real reason they broke-up so, she had to think
of something and fast. Nicole felt so bad for Brooke because she knew Brooke
cared about Josh alot.
"Did you want to talk about it?" she asked her softly. Brooke thought fast.
"Nic, it don't make sense"
"What don't make sense B?"
"Josh, he said there was another girl"
Did it work is Nicole actually going to believe me, Brooke thought.

They all started laughing except for Harrison. He knew what he saw was real.
They did brake up.
"Fine, don't believe me, you'll all see" Harrison said hurtfully.
"See what? Brook and Josh not together?" Lily said.
"Harr, we know that you have this major crush on her, but you and her together,
only in your dreams." Sam said bluntly.
"Sam don't you think you're being a little to hard on him, after all this is a
delicate topic." Carmen said trying to stop an arguement from starting. As
Carmen finished her sentence Brooke and Nicole walked out of the girls
bathroom.
"If you don't believe me why don't you ask her now." Harrison said.

"Spam, what are you and your dorky friends staring at?" Nicole said pushing by
the four of them.
Brook was still in shock because Nicole acutally bought her lame story. She
didn't want to tell her best friend in the whole world that she had a crush on
a nobody. Well he wasn't a nobody, he was a somebody just not a popular
somebody.
"Yo, Brooke!, you listening to me?" Nicole practically screamed.
"Oh, sorry Nic what were you saying to me?"
"I was saying, we need to find out who Josh dumped you for."
Oh no! What if she finds out that I dumped him? She would be so mad at me,
Brooke thought.
"Um... it would be to painful for me to find out who she was." Brooke said
sadly.
Brook was acting really weird with the whole Josh thing Nicole thought.
"Come on Nic, lets get to Bio class." Brooke said changing the subject.
As the two of them walked into Biology class Brooke and Harrison met eye to eye.

Harrison could not believe that Brooke McQueen was starring straight at him.
He had to tell someone. He leaned up and tapped Sammi.
"What Harr?" she said.
"Brooke McQueen just made eye contact with me." he whispered.
"That don't mean anything you know?" she said.
"I think it did I felt a connection Sammi." Harrison retoted.
"Shhhhhhhh! Here they come Harr, now be quiet" Sam whispered.

"What are you two dweebs talking about" asked Nicole.
"If it was any of your business I still wouldn't tell you." Sam said as she
turned around in her seat.
All Brooke had to do now was pull her crush aside and see if he felt the same
way.
